Glen Ketchum, Owner/Operator

Glen has been working in construction and excavating for over two decades. He became known amongst homeowners and contractors alike in his role as Manager, Liquid Waste Services at the City of Campbell River. He oversaw storm water management and waste water treatment and collection operations for the City. Previous to this Glen had owned a hardscaping company in Grande Prairie Alberta, and also worked for 12 years at Epcor in waste water treatment.

Glen decided to leave the City of Campbell River to take over the Mr. Mini Dig business in 2023. He wanted to make sure that homeowners and contractors could have great work done by a responsible and dedicated contractor. Mr. Mini Dig was previously owned by Wayne Braun, who had reached out to Glen when he decided that it was time to sell his business, as he knew that Glen would continue to provide the great service that his company was known for. 

You’ll notice that Glen values great service, taking the time to fully explain the work needing to be done, and willingly sharing his perspective if he notes anything of concern around your property to try to help you prevent problems before they arise.  He and his team work hard to be thorough and efficient. The crew do their best to return your property back to its original state after work is completed— a service that is well beyond what is typical in the industry.

You’ll often see Glen working alongside his crew, at the worksites, shovel in hand too, and encouraging his crew. He’s also a respectful employer who greatly values his team.
